ICT tools for communication are really important for teaching and learning, just like talking every day. As a student, I mainly use Telegram and Moodle for school stuff with friends and teachers, and most importantly, to get study materials. I've tried others like WhatsApp and Messenger sometimes, but because of how Telegram and Moodle work, I use those apps and the online learning space a lot. What surprised me most was how easily the app handles huge group chats and sharing all kinds of files, big or small. I was in over 10 groups just for my course where we swapped notes, reminders, and updates. The cloud storage meant I could open shared files anytime without downloading them all. The channel feature was great for getting neat content from teachers without extra chat. I really like the edit and delete options – they helped me fix messages and keep things tidy.
On the other hand, Moodle is also really good because I found the communication stays focused on schoolwork and tasks, keeping things professional. Everything being in one place means all course talk is organized and easy to find anytime, so I can always get to my courses and materials. Even with these good points, I had problems. With so many busy groups and lots of people, important messages sometimes got lost quickly. I got flooded with notifications from active groups. There were times I got distracted by non-school channels I followed. I only have issues with Moodle sometimes, like not being able to upload big videos and links not working.
I really think Telegram is more than just a chat app. It’s a tool that does many things, helping students work together, especially those okay with tech. I learned how to handle online talk better: organizing chats, quieting distractions, and saving important messages for quick look-up.
All in all, Telegram and Moodle helped me stay in touch with classmates and handle my learning better. Their special features made talking smoother and sharing files easier. Looking ahead, I see Telegram and Moodle as tools I can count on to help me learn, as long as I use them carefully. I'll pay attention to managing distractions and putting school content first.
